About Epygen
Epygen Labs is a Biotechnology Company, set up as the first company at Dubai Biotech (DUBIOTECH) Park utilizing decades of experience by its promoters to develop, express, purify and customize Enzyme Proteins based on industrial applications. In the last two decades, Epygen has developed a wide range of recombinant Enzymes and engineered proteins.
Whether it is to meet the harsh physical & chemical conditions of regional Oil & Gas wells or recycled fiber processing, these enzyme systems are uniquely designed to replace harmful chemicals and augment process productivity. Enzyme Bio-molecules being extremely complex, the Epygen scientists are on top of the game in customizing the mechanisms of their action, based on cleaner, 100% environment-friendly and efficient processes.

FOUNDER & CMDDebayan, Epygen’s visionary founder, aims to lead biotech innovation to enhance human life. With over a decade in top biotech firms in the US and India, he drives sustainable solutions at Epygen’s labs in Dubai, India, and the USA. Holding an M.Tech in Biotechnology and IIM business courses, he has authored key publications and patents.
Ariyarathenam M.
FounderAriyarathenam Manikcam, a self-made entrepreneur possessing 30 years of experience, established a multinational group that operates 7 offices spanning 4 countries and employs over 200 skilled staff. His enterprises concentrate on specialty chemicals and travel, serving the South Asian region by sourcing premium materials from the USA, Europe, and East Asia, thus raising trading standards via expert technical personnel and dedicated lab support.
Ineeyan A.
Director & Vice PresidentBefore Epygen, Ineeyan Ariyaratnam served as Director of Business Development & Finance at Fabpro Specialities, a leading multinational specialty chemical firm. He successfully restructured global sourcing and fund disbursement, thereby creating highly profitable new business verticals. Ineeyan holds a BSc in Business Management from the prestigious King’s College London and an MBA in Operations and Finance from SP Jain Institute of Management.
Ravi Kulkarni
Sales DirectorRavi Kulkarni, Sales Director at Epygen Labs, oversees the sales functions, backed by his 25 years of robust B2B expertise. He earned a degree in Science from Osmania University and an MBA from TAPMI. Starting his career at Biocon in India, he went on to lead sales efforts at Rudolf Wild GmbH and Symrise AG in the Middle East region. At Epygen, he is dedicated to driving effective strategies and creating new business models that drive success.
