To Develop Recycled Fiber For Kraft Mills In Mena Regions Facing Challenges In Water Quality Due To Extreme Recirculation
Under harsh white water conditions of extreme calcium hardness, inter fiber bonding and thereby strength of final paper suffers irreversibly. Conventional strength enhancing chemicals are of little use in these circumstances.
Epygen presented its path breaking PAPYRASETM RF range of Enzyme application, specially designed to enhance fiber morphology under stressful mill water conditions, proven in Lab and several plant scale applications.
Mr. Bikas Saha, Division Head of Epygen Pulp and Paper Enzymes, highlighted various challenges faced by mills in the region and aspects of Enzymatic fiber development and impact on OCC mills. This paper was established with valuable inputs from one of the largest paper mills in MENA region.
